Color Theory Yellow …. So have you ever wondered why a space could make you feel a certain way? Color plays a major role.
So here’s a little glimpse into my color theory yellow paint color selection.
Recently I was at a seminar on Color Theory and It’s Applications at Avalon Carpet and Tile given by Feras Irikat. After years of working with color, it is always refreshing to be inspired by those around us. And Feras Irikat certainly was infectious with his enthusiasm for color.
It can be difficult to find just the right yellow paint colors. Because yellow is the hardest color for our eye to see. As you can see, I selected Soleil AF-330, from the Benjamin Moore Affinity Collection for the dressing room. Because I was looking to evoke an uplifting and positive feeling to start the day with. Affinity Collection from Benjamin Moore has offers many beautiful colors. And I find the coverage and dry time to be well worth the added expenditure.
While reading through the material from my seminar, the effect that yellow has on us is generally one of creativity, innovation, spontaneity, intellectualism. In addition to, free spirit, lightness of spirit, offers zest and joyfulness, radiates warmth, proposes originality. And a sense of serendipity, rises alert level and expresses caution.
And you know, every time I even glance into the room I feel happy.
