Does Benjamin Moore Monroe Bisque HC-26 go with sage?
Without exact information, I am assuming you have painted your room in Monroe Bisque and are looking to add furnishings or accents in sage; or maybe even painting an adjacent room in sage.
My first reaction is that Monroe Bisque pairs well with deep blues, red to terracotta red tones, rich browns, and black. Pairing Monroe Bisque with white moldings will accentuate your millwork.
“does BM Monroe Bisque go with sage?” my answer is yes, but as with any design, you need to plan carefully for this color combination.
I’ve pulled together some fabrics and furnishings below from www.kravet.com to compliment a Monroe Bisque and Sage color scheme … with an area rug option ~ neutral or sage, both work well you may even want to switch out the neutral area rug for a sage one in the fall/winter months.
With the addition of this amazing fabric from Kravet Couture, Hand Stitched Quince brings the two colors together with elegance and ease. The pops of red/terra-cotta and green in the fabric bring the palette alive while keeping it calm and neutral. I pulled it together with the addition of a leather chair from Kravet Smart and an accent pillow fabric in Lamson Coral, also from Kravet. A sage area rug from Barbara Barry for Kravet finishes the space, switch it out for a neutral area rug from Kravet Carpet Max-Wheat in the spring/summer months for a totally new look & feel.
Visit www.kravet.com for more information on the products listed above.
These are a few things I keep in mind when planning a color scheme ~
How will sage be introduced – in furnishings, accessories, window treatments, an accent wall or in an adjacent room?
How will you paint your walls, will there be a wainscoting?
What shade is the sage?
What is your lighting?
How much sage will you use?
What else is in your room?
Monroe Bisque is a great home staging paint color to “maximize your space”.
So glad you stopped in! ~ Nancy
