In partnership with Architectural Digest, the 2015 Oscar Greenroom Design team is LA based Commune Design.
And … Julianne Moore will be helping to design the Greenroom this year, I can’t even imagine how exciting this must be! ~ cheers!

According to Architectural Digest text by Carrie Hojnicki,
“Employing a distinctly midcentury aesthetic, the designers fashioned the space to bring to mind the iconic modern homes of L.A.’s Mulholland Drive”.
“Sleek furnishings and stylish textiles, foliage and rich textures will ornament the room, which is set to “fully represent the best of California living,” says Commune cofounder Roman Alonso.

Director’s Cut Mohair fabrics from Holly Hunt Design
– looks luscious so excited to see it … or will it land on the cutting room floor?

Mohair is one of my favorite fabrics, whenever I work with a client and they ask me what Mohair is, I tell them ~ it’s the fabric that Radio City Music Hall had on their chairs; that beautiful red mohair, wears like iron, looks and feels great.
