In partnership with Architectural Digest, the 2015 Oscar Greenroom Design team is LA based Commune Design.
And … Julianne Moore will be helping to design the Greenroom this year, I can’t even imagine how exciting this must be! ~ cheers!
Below is the 2015 Greenroom rendering courtesy of Commune.
According to Architectural Digest text by Carrie Hojnicki,
“Employing a distinctly midcentury aesthetic, the designers fashioned the space to bring to mind the iconic modern homes of L.A.’s Mulholland Drive”.
“Sleek furnishings and stylish textiles, foliage and rich textures will ornament the room, which is set to “fully represent the best of California living,” says Commune cofounder Roman Alonso.
According to moneknows.com
Incorporated into the 2015 Architectural Digest Greenroom design are products by AD’s partners: Bernardaud, Caesarstone, Clarence House, Emtek, Holly Hunt, Perennials, Remains Lighting, Sherwin-Williams, Stark, Sutherland, Walker Zanger.
Director’s Cut Mohair fabrics from Holly Hunt Design
– looks luscious so excited to see it … or will it land on the cutting room floor?
Mohair is one of my favorite fabrics, whenever I work with a client and they ask me what Mohair is, I tell them ~ it’s the fabric that Radio City Music Hall had on their chairs; that beautiful red mohair, wears like iron, looks and feels great.
Countdown to the Oscars … 6 days!
Enjoy your Monday! ~ Nancy
