The weather is anything but predictable but the Spring Color Forecast from Pantone Women’s Spring 2015 Color Collection guarantees a season of beautiful color ahead.
Cooler colors like Aquamarine and Lucite Green seem to be dominating the forecast, but we stay anchored with Classic Blue and Marsala and we rely on our neutral colors in Toasted Almond and Glacier Gray to enhance all the other colors.

My mantra ~ Home Fashion Colors follow Runway colors.
For the home, I think The Pantone Women’s 2015 spring color palette is a most welcome accent to the existing abundance of neutral color schemes and furnishings.
The message for me is color + confidence, beautiful combinations of serene and bold, warm and cool combined with neutrals, all together brimming with clarity, calmness and joy.
In the marketplace color and pattern abounds! If you haven’t been bit by the color bug just wait … there comes a point when you simply can’t resist.
If the color doesn’t get you the fresh modern patterns with global influences or solid textures just may. Designers have delivered new upbeat florals, geometric prints + animal prints in an array of colors plus beautiful textured solids and fresh takes on plaids + houndstooth patterns.
Find your way to introduce a little spring color or a lot of color into your space, be fearless or at least push yourself up one notch and see where it takes you.
How to get started????
My Tip ~
Start with a beautiful fabric or collection of fabrics, then extract colors from it for your paint color or accent colors.
Let the paint color drive your design decisions. It’s a little more challenging this way and I don’t normally recommend it, but if your really crazy for a paint color just “make it work”.
My Simple Real Life Truth ~
I recently painted my powder room in Benjamin Moore Breath of Fresh Air, I absolutely love the color it’s fresh, modern and fun. I paired the rest of the room in tones of gray, black and whites, a gray vanity with a white top, a mirror in gray and cream, artwork in black and white and a window treatment that marries the paint color. Definitely drabbbbb to fab!
Which are your favorite colors from the palette???
