I am such a fan of Ikat Print Draperies! These two beautiful rooms showcase how Ikat fabrics add pattern and color to a space without overwhelming it.
My Tip ~
If you are trying to decide on a color palette, consider looking at an Ikat pattern as your jumping off point. Once you have chosen your print pull colors from the Ikat fabric and use throughout the room.
Something to keep in mind … I’ve noticed when working with clients an Ikat print is one that both men and women can agree on.
Ikat Print Draperies often contain shades of one color printed on a white or cream background. The color selection with Ikat prints are endless ranging from neutrals to deep rich color tones and now I am seeing a mixture of colors not just tone-on-tone options.
Ikat Print Draperies in shades of blue and white provide the perfect jumping off point for any room.
My Tip ~
If you would like to add Pantone color of the year for 2016 Serenity into your home think of a print with a pale blue incorporated within the pattern like the Ikat Print above.
Ikat Print Draperies in a neutral palette of gray, beige and cream add a soothing point of view to this serene master suite.
Notice how the neutral tones in this bedroom are brought together by the pattern found in the Ikat draperies. The room is seamless it flows quietly with sophistication and ease, effortless.
