Of course you’ll need to furnish the living space, office and kitchen to function.

And if you have kids decorate their rooms too!
Including them in the process can excite them about the move, help them feel more connected to their new home and shows them that you care.
Here’s a quick bedroom decorating checklist to help get you motivated!
You don’t need too much either …
A good mattress
A bed frame and headboard
Personal Style – Think about what style you gravitate towards.
Color Palette – Work on committing to a color palette, this may include painting.
Bedding – With white sales in January chances are you can cash in on some good deals.
Window Treatments – adding privacy, light + temperature control, style and comfort.
Storage – example: dresser, night side tables, desk, tv console
Lighting
Accessories – area rug, artwork etc.
Seating – if you have room.
As fun and exciting as this all is … have a plan & don’t pressure yourself.
Depending on your situation some things can be decided on before and some after ~ no worries.
Enjoy the process … once you move edit and add.
When you’re in your new space you’ll be able to tell what fits, what you can donate and where you need to fill in.
It’s Wednesday … finish strong! ~ Nancy
