Now that we’ve taken a look at the 2016 HGTV Dream Home paint colors it’s time to check out the 2016 HGTV Dream Home Furnishings used throughout the interior of this beautiful coastal home.

My take aways …

Bedrooms:
The Beds: Each unique style of bed defines the individual rooms space and personality.
Night side tables: Took on a new look in the form of a writing desk or chest of drawers.

Living Spaces:
The Living Room and Media room are both undoubtedly fabulous! The two rooms are have such different color palettes and both are filled with unexpected touches …
Lighting:
3 chandeliers in the living room atop the 2 rebar + glass cocktail tables.
1 chandelier in the media room a nice touch, very unexpected.
Upholstery:
Comfy seating in both rooms combined with a perfect pairing of accent pillows.
Slipper Chairs: I am such a fan of slipper chairs and so excited to see them used in this living room!

Dining Room:
Seating: Casual slipcovered arm chairs all around paired with a farmhouse table creates a summer style vibe.
Lighting: Adding this bold pendant trio gives the room a modern nautical feel,
Area Rug: A touch of Ikat! One of my favorite prints!

Kitchen:
Last but not least the Kitchen. The coastal carefree feeling continues with a triple chest of drawers with sheer draperies behind giving the kitchen a casual cozy feel. This vignette complete with its table top accessories bridges the open concept floor plan from living room to kitchen.
Counter Stools: I like the nod to a coastal feel with the stripe fabric selected for the counter stools.
