A few weeks ago I attended the NYNOW Trade Show held at the Javits Center. If you’ve ever been to the Javits Center in New York you know how large the space is. So the excitement of walking into the Javits Center is overwhelming as home decor for the coming year is waiting inside. I like to find trends and common threads between vendors of colors, patterns, materials or products.
This year the trend was clear, Gold Home Decor took the top spot!
Last Summer we noticed the trend towards gold accents heating up for home decor. But now gold home decor is readily available whether your choice is brass, gilded, tarnished or maybe even a diy gold leaf accent.
