My Tips ~ 5 things you’ll need at the paint store.
First, Paint, I know you know that though 🙂
However, after you have chosen the color, call your local paint store and order it & tell them when you’ll pick it up. Why? By the time you arrive your paint will ready to go.
Second, Paint Brushes & Rollers.
Check your paint brushes & rollers before you leave to pick up the paint. Chances are you’ll need to pick one or two up.
Check your roller trays & liners too!
Third, Trim Paint.
If you think you have some left over, think again. Paint will separate over time making it hard to mix at home.
Fourth, Drop Cloths.
While you’re at the store, add a couple of plastic drop cloths to your order. Or splurge for a professional quality drop cloth.
And finally, Blue Painters Tape.
pick-up some Blue Painters Tape. When your prepping your room tape off the moldings, ceiling, doorways & windows with the blue painters tape.
