Dining Alfresco in style, from Northern Spain to a California Winery 5 outdoor dining areas that will take your breath away. However, it’s all about your design aesthetic when it comes to creating your vision for the perfect outdoor dining experience.
We all love dining alfresco from a porch to the open wine country to our own backyard. Dining areas of all types will inspire us with little tidbits of design that we can take-away for our own homes.
From Fixer Upper, Chip & Joanna Gains design a beautiful outdoor dining room on a covered porch. Furthermore, the design expands the indoor space by creating an outdoor dining room defined by this amazing reclaimed ceiling. Together with this custom dining table, overhead lighting & accessories the space is so welcoming.
And isn’t that what we all want from our dining areas?
Similarly, pergola’s are really gaining in popularity. Again, the use of a pergola defines the dining area creating a sense of coziness.
Plus a pergola provides an area to string outdoor lights which are so enchanting on a summer night!
Of course this is dining area is just pure bliss. With a natural tree-lined canopy that defines this outdoor space who would ever leave!
Again, the point of any dining area!
But maybe you don’t have a tree-lined path, I guess a winery will do!
btw, I really love a tablecloth on an outdoor dining table, it’s just unexpected.
Then again, simply by adding accessories to your outdoor dining area ups your personality factor. A mix of fabrics and vintage tableware adds a boho vibe to your outdoor dining area.
My Simple Real Life Truth ~
As many of you know my favorite place to have dinner in the summer is outside on my deck. We replaced our glass top outdoor dining table a couple of years ago with a teak one from Crate & Barrel. The upkeep with a teak table is so much easier, I just love it. Then we found dining chairs from Target and combined them with a teak bench also from Crate & Barrel. All in all, it’s pretty simple cozy and comfy outdoor dining!
So thanks for stopping in and we hope you’ve left inspired! ~ Nancy
