Our weekend round-up … Decorating Links, Week 22. With Thanksgiving next week, we’re beginning the transition from Fall into Winter. Although I like to wait till after Thanksgiving to decorate for the Christmas season, most retail stores were decorated weeks ago for the Holidays!
So, our Decorating Links Week 22 …
takes us from the end of Fall and nudges us into the Holiday season. Plus tour a Beautiful Boho Chic home that will captivate you with color! And our favorite diy of the week …
So now that most of our beautiful Mums have endured the first frost or two what do we do with them? Here’s a quick read from SouthernLiving.com ‘6 Things you didn’t know about Mums’. http://www.southernliving.com/home-garden/how-to-care-for-mums
And as a side note, based on the article above I just finished planting my mums in a nice sunny spot. I found a beautiful peachy color mum that I’ve not seen before so I’m hoping they bloom for next Fall. Also, my garlic that I planted a few weeks ago has begun to sprout. I’ve never planted garlic before so I’m curious to see how that goes too! Looking forward to Spring already!
And now that we’re getting ready for Holiday Decorating, visit this beautiful Farmhouse full of simple yet elegant holiday decor. And rooms full of painted shiplap for a little inspiration! From SouthernLiving.com ‘Pure Country Christmas Farmhouse’.
And our favorite diy of the week … an Irish Blessing from the blog Bless’er House Southern Style, or you can buy it!
Then we’ve been captivated by color in this 650 sq. ft. Miami beach house with a Beautiful Boho Style … featured in HouseBeautiful.com. This Beach House Was Specifically Designed to Be a “Mood Elevator”
So we hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
And as always thanks for sharing your week with us! ~ Nancy
