Christmas Tree Decorations, our Just for the Fun of it this week!
Christmas Tree decorations are so full of personality! So, if you’re looking for a few great ideas to change up your Christmas Tree decorations this year check out these 6 distinctly different decorating ideas.
First, add color!
Think outside the box and decorate with color this year. Adorn your beautiful Christmas Tree with pink and gold ornaments.
A foyer is a dramatic space to showcase your Christmas Tree Design.
And as you can see the pink is carried into the foyer from the Dining Room.
A black, gray and white color scheme provides a perfect backdrop for a good dose of pink!
Second, Decorate with Style.
A Southwestern Stylized Christmas Tree. This one is for my Sister Diane & Angie. Only, I’m not sure if their cats would play with the ornaments too much! lol!
Having themed decorations is always a fun idea for a Christmas Tree. It makes collecting fun all year long. And each little ornament has a story to tell.
Third, Make it Family Friendly.
Make the Christmas Tree a focal point for an evening of storytelling and hot chocolate.
Just by adding sleeping bags, pillows and cute crates full of presents it’s like camping out under the Christmas Tree!
Plus this Farmhouse Christmas Tree full is chock full of traditional and or vintage Christmas ornaments continuing memories from one year or generation to the next.
Fourth, Go 100% handmade.
Decorate your Christmas Tree with all handmade ornaments.
My Simple Real Life Truth~ One year I decorated a home for my Church’s Christmas House Tour with a friend of mine. Our design plan was to stay within the time period of the home, so that meant all homemade ornaments just like you see here. It was fun a bit time consuming but all in all a really rewarding fundraiser.
Making Christmas Tree Decorations is fun for all ages!
Fifth, get a color scheme.
And finally, an urban loft gets a punch of color with a simply beautiful green & white color scheme.
Deciding on a color scheme keeps things under control. And you can shop wisely all year long especially cashing in on after Christmas sales.
As a side note: Changing out your pillow covers is a savvy money saver. And they don’t take up much space to store away. Then you can reuse the same pillow forms all year long.
It’s Thursday the weekend is almost here! Thanks for stopping in today ~ Nancy
