Sage green among other “soft colors” are taking top spots in the race for 2018 home decorating trends. But how can we use this “soft” neutral green color in our home decorating plan?
First, try Sage as your paint color.
So what rooms are appropriate for Sage Paint Colors?
Just about any room! It’s is an easy liveable color for a bathroom, dining room, living room, foyer, bedroom or kitchen.
Sage in a dining room is a perfect choice. Actually, it’s one of my favorite colors for a dining room. Because green paint colors typically feel fresh. And the soothing color just makes you want to linger a little longer.
So Sage is actually a combination of blue and yellow. The more blue you add the darker the color green. And the more yellow you add the shade of green becomes lighter.
Second, add accent furniture.
The accent chair adds a pop of color to an otherwise neutral palette.
Third, Architectural Details.
Green tiles add a fresh modern spa-like feel to this bathroom.
Last but not least, accessories!
Sage green doesn’t need to stay in the neutral zone. It can be added to a vibrant color palette as well. The Baby Bok Choy painted accessories soften this vibrant wall color, Grand Canal. Plus notice how the accent pillows with a touch of green bring the entire room’s palette together.
