Be Colorful. Add color with a bold paint choice. This is especially a good idea if you are not ready for a big commitment or need a quick fix. My Tip ~ Although a good idea, in theory, paint can stain from food splatters, so make sure to use a washable paint. And keep a little paint on hand for touch-ups.
Add Pattern. Take your kitchen and make it unique with patterned tiles in black and white.
Think outside of the box. This backsplash is created by painting the back of a thick sheet of glass. I have seen this used over the years in model homes especially in cities. The overall effect is fresh and updated and can be used in just about any design style. I really like it a lot.
