First, a sophisticated collection of dining room textiles found in this years HGTV’s Dream Home 2019. Beginning from the floor up. With a stunning hand-woven cowhide area rug. Lastly, napkins that tie in the coral color of the throws finishes the space.
And of course, in a bedroom, the use of textiles becomes a feature. So select carefully. As seen in the bedroom below from HGTV Dream Home 2019 the deep wall color from Sherwin-Williams, Caviar SW6990 is complimented by the black & white buffalo check textiles in the Duvet Cover & roman shade, As well as the decorative pillows, and a throw. Even though the leather upholstered leather bench is a great addition, leather is not considered a textile.
Lastly, in a kitchen. With the use of textiles this blue, white & wood kitchen is cohesive right into the breakfast area. Textiles such as; an area rug, roman shades, upholstered chairs, and decorative pillows bring the room alive with color and focus. Furthermore, textiles such as a table runner, cotton napkins or a tablecloth would also be a welcome addition to the textile mix for a kitchen.
All in all, textiles are an easy way to update your space. However, it does take thought and planning just like any other interior decorating project. So for a moment, imagine any of these rooms without the mentioned textiles. Needless to say, the bones of the rooms are designed thoughtfully but would seem as if they were missing something. Then add back in the Designer’s selection of textiles as shown; from area rugs to draperies. As you can see, this is where adding textiles to a room adds a level of comfort & softness.
