Monochromatic Decorating, and what is that?
Basically a Monochromatic color scheme is designed by using varying shades of one color. And, important to note, any color can be used in a monochromatic color scheme. Furthermore, a monochromatic design plan works for any room design.

Notably, this patio has all the elements of a Monochromatic decorating plan. By seamlessly using varying shades of green paint. Plus the addition of green & white decorative pillows.

1Usually a monochromatic color scheme is thought of as a neutral palette. Although, as you can see monochromatic decorating is not just for neutral tones.

2If you are considering a monochromatic gray color palette, it’s a great option for a nursery. By adding more or less white to black will give you subtle gray tones. For the most part, it’s an easy decorating color combination to grow with your child.

3As can be seen, this neutral monochromatic design encompasses shades of white. With the addition of natural materials, the room has a Modern Natural Design aesthetic.

4Lastly, a home gym designed with a monochromatic decorating plan in mind. The paint color, draperies, and flooring just blend into one another. Leaving the black equipment and lighting to take center stage.
