How we charge for Intentional Designs, Interior Decorating Services …
Intentional Designs are flexible in the way we work so we have to be flexible in the way we charge.
Basically, we bill in two ways…
For larger projects …
Intentional Designs charges a project design fee based upon the scope of your project.
The Project Design Fee encompasses:
Space Planning, Floor Plans, Selection of Furniture, Fabrics, Paint & Accessories.
Product Pricing: Furnishings and accessories not carried online by ID will be billed at that company’s suggested retail price.
Window Treatments or products designed by Intentional Designs, Inc., or accessories that are product lines we carry, will be billed at the listed retail price.
Any additional consultation time outside of the original scope will be billed at an hourly rate based upon services rendered. Depending upon the scope of the project a retainer may be required.
For smaller projects …
There is no minimum job requirement.
Intentional Designs will bill on an hourly rate for agreed-upon decorating services.
Product pricing: same as above

A little about me …

With over 17 years of experience in Interior Decorating from residential to hospitality, my passion for decorating grows stronger each day. I’m inspired by my clients and strive to enhance their everyday life through intentional decorating designs.
I have an Interior Design Certificate from Moore College of Art and Design, and a BA in Mass Communications from the University of Hartford. I have been an Allied ASID Member with the Philadelphia Chapter since 2008.

Some of my current work includes ~
Hospitality
A 45-room boutique hotel located in Doylestown, PA. The scope of work included the Breakfast Area, Lobby, and 45 guest rooms.
Residential
Recently, after completing a wonderful residential project in Buckingham, the homeowner said to me, “I didn’t think I would use this room as much, but the chair is so comfortable I now sit in the room and read and really enjoy it.” That is the highest compliment I could receive, that the homeowner treasures their home and lives in it with joy.
Blogger
My readership on ID’s blog, Facebook, Pinterest & Instagram has grown steadily over the years.
I am constantly designing, learning, and traveling and have attended Design Conferences to bring readers content they will find helpful in their design journey.
Volunteer
As an Allied ASID member of the Pennsylvania East Chapter, I was asked by the Interior Design Awards committee to Chair the IDA 2013 Gala. What an honor and opportunity to give back to the ASID and the Philadelphia Community. I’ve also served on the Philadelphia East Chapter ASID Board as Director at Large.
